Meet Kirsten

I grew up in the South, where hospitality isn’t just a business — it is a way of life.

I’ve worked every front-of-house role there is, which means I understand the realities operators face — the long shifts, the tight margins, and the heart it takes to keep a team together. I followed my love of food and hospitality to earn a graduate degree in Gastronomy from Boston University. I then spent a decade running restaurants before finding my home in HR. Since then, I’ve partnered with 42 restaurants to build stronger systems, fairer policies, and cultures that feel as good as they look on paper.

I’m a proud Kansas City transplant that immediately fell in love with the food scene here. The creativity of KC restaurants has blown me away. I’m here to not just to help sustain it, but to help the places we love here thrive.

Off the clock, you’ll find me cooking, tucked into a dimly lit restaurant with a glass of old-world wine, or working through the Sunday crossword. I love timeless traditions, classic cocktails, and the details that make hospitality feel effortless.
